VinFast Expands European Market Presence Through German Dealer Partnership
Vietnamese EV manufacturer establishes showrooms in Chemnitz and Werdau with Autohaus Hübsch, signaling a strategic shift to dealer-based sales model across key European markets.
Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast announced today a strategic expansion of its European distribution network through a new partnership with German automotive retailer Autohaus Hübsch.
The agreement establishes VinFast's first dealerships in Germany, with two showrooms opening in Chemnitz and Werdau. Both locations will operate under the company's comprehensive 3S model, providing sales, service, and support functions to customers.
This partnership marks a significant shift in VinFast's European strategy, moving from direct sales to a dealer-based model that the company has already implemented in other global markets.
VinFast has revealed plans to rapidly expand its dealer network across major urban centers in Germany, France, and the Netherlands in the coming months.
The company's European lineup currently includes the B-segment VF 6 and D-segment VF 8 models, which come with industry-competitive warranties of 7 years/160,000 km and 10 years/200,000 km respectively. VinFast also provides customers access to over 850,000 charging ports across 30 European countries.
This European expansion follows VinFast's entry into several Asian and Middle Eastern markets during 2024, alongside continued development of its North American operations. The company reports meeting its global sales targets last year and achieving market leadership in its home country of Vietnam.
Autohaus Hübsch represents a prominent automotive dealership specialising in sales and service of premium vehicles. Established as a family-owned enterprise, the company has developed a reputation for professional customer service and technical expertise in the automotive sector.
The dealership features a comprehensive showroom displaying current model vehicles alongside certified pre-owned options. Their service department employs factory-trained technicians equipped with manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and repairs.
Autohaus Hübsch offers various customer services including financing options, vehicle customization, maintenance packages, and warranty coverage. Their business model emphasises building long-term relationships with clients through the entire vehicle ownership lifecycle.
The facility itself typically includes a modern showroom, service bays, parts department, and customer waiting areas designed to enhance the client experience. Many locations have integrated digital technologies to streamline the purchasing and service processes.
As an authorized dealer, Autohaus Hübsch maintains compliance with manufacturer standards for facility appearance, staff training, and service protocols. Their business operations reflect industry best practices while adapting to regional market preferences and requirements.
