VECV’s July 2024 wholesales jumped 12.7% YoY to 6622 units

VECV’s July 2024 wholesales jumped 12.7% YoY to 6622 units 

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 6622 units in July 2024, as compared to 5877 units in July 2023, a growth of 12.7% This includes 6444 units of Eicher brand and 178 units of Volvo brand, the company stated in a statement. 

Elaborating further, the company informed that Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 6444 units in July 2024, as compared to 5736 units in July 2023 representing a growth of 12.3%.

In the domestic CV market, the Eicher branded trucks and buses recorded sales of 6044 units in July 2024, as compared to 5311 units in July 2023, representing a growth of 13.8%. 

Additionally, on the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses recorded sales of 400 units in July 2024 as compared to 425 units in July 2023, representing a decline of 5.9%.

Also, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses recorded sales of 178 units in July 2024 as compared to 141 units in July 2023, representing a growth of 26.2%, the statement added.
