TVS Racing announced its entry into the 2025 Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) with 15 riders from 12 countries, including new participants from Spain, England, and Argentina. The fourth season of the TVS Asia One Make Championship will begin at Thailand's Chang International Circuit on April 25-27.

TVS Racing announced its entry into the 2025 Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) with 15 riders from 12 countries, including new participants from Spain, England, and Argentina. The fourth season of the TVS Asia One Make Championship will begin at Thailand's Chang International Circuit on April 25-27.
The team will compete with an updated TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycle, which has received performance enhancements including increased engine power, friction reduction technology, and improved cooling efficiency. Mid-season upgrades will include a more compact design, 14% reduction in drag, modified gear ratios, and optimized rear suspension.
"We are raising the bar once again with a race-optimized TVS Apache RR 310 and participation from a diverse set of racers from new countries," said Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor Company. "This season is set to push the boundaries of racing technology and competition."
The rider lineup features seven returning racers from the 2024 squad, including three from India, alongside eight new competitors. Japan's Hiroki Ono, who won the championship last year, will defend his title, while India's Sarthak Chavan looks to build on his historic top-three finish from last season.
Ron Hogg, Promotions Director of Two Wheels Motor Racing, noted that the championship has helped expand the two-wheel industry in Asia while elevating standards through diverse participation. "This practice is an excellent approach in helping riders reevaluate their level of performances in the face of new rivalries," Hogg stated.
The 2025 season holds additional significance as TVS celebrates 20 years of the Apache brand. The motorcycle has set speed records in recent years, including a class top speed of 216 kmph in 2024, along with lap records at circuits in Thailand and Malaysia.
TVS Racing has been developing motorsports in India since 1982 and introduced the One Make Championship format to the country in 1994. The company's "Track to Road" strategy has helped engineer the TVS Apache series into popular performance motorcycles.
