Toyota Kirloskar posts highest monthly sales for September at 23, 590 units, grows by over 50%

Toyota Kirloskar posts highest monthly sales for September at 23, 590 units, grows by over 50%

Toyota Kirloskar, the maker of Innova and Fortuner has posted its highest ever monthly sales performance for September 2023 dispatching 23,590 units both for exports and domestic market.

The company posted a year on year growth of 53 percent for September 2023. The domestic sales of 22,168 was a shade below its highest ever monthly dispatches of 22,910 in August.

Strong performance in September, has helped the company post over 35 per cent growth in the first six months of this financial year with dispatches of 1,23,939 units, vs 91,843 units it cumulatively sold in the first half of FY-22.

This strong growth is attributed to the continued success of Toyota Kirloskar Motors recent models including Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, Hilux and the New Rumion which is the latest addition to the portfolio in the B-MPV segment, claims the company.

Atul Sood, VP Sales, and Strategic Marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “ The sales of September 2023 underlines the growing acceptance of the company’s diverse portfolio of products and robust service offerings that is allowing customers a choice that fits their lifestyle and mobility needs. We are witnessing sustained demand across our product line-up which is leading to the company’s record-breaking performance."

He expects the upcoming festive season to be a "promising period" with demand continuing to grow which will further enhance the sales performance of the company.

To reach out to more prospective buyers, TKM says expanding reach and enabling easier access to the entire lineup of products has also significantly contributed to the upward trajectory in the sales numbers. In the first 6 months of the fiscal year, TKM expanded its reach from 577 to 612 touchpoints across the country.
