TCI consolidated net profit up by 22%, consolidated revenue up by 12.6% in Q2FY25

The Transport Corporation of India Ltd., an integrated supply chain and logistics solutions provider posted a consolidated net profit of ₹1,073 million for Q2 FY2025, up 22.2% from ₹878 million in Q2 FY2024. Its consolidated revenue reached ₹11,314 million, rising 12.6% from ₹10,048 million.

EBITDA increased to ₹1,519 million from ₹1,319 million, marking a 15.2% growth. The company recorded a standalone revenue of ₹10,120 million, up 11% from ₹9,114 million year-on-year. Standalone profit grew 24.2% to ₹825 million from ₹664 million.

For the half year ended September 2024, the company recorded revenue of ₹21,874 million, an 11.4% increase from ₹19,631 million. Six-month profit reached ₹1,989 million, up 16.3% from ₹1,710 million.

"The company has displayed resilient growth in Q2FY25 despite stalling economic conditions due to heavy monsoons, uncertainties of global geopolitical developments and slower private consumption," Mr. Vineet Agarwal, MD of TCI said.

"We have seen growth across all lines of businesses, especially in warehousing and 3PL green multimodal solutions, coming from sectors like Industrials, electrical equipment, chemicals, quick commerce & consumer electronics. Our diversified offerings of cold chain & chemical logistics along with other emerging vertical solutions have shown positive traction by efficiently tapping into available opportunities," he added.

TCI was awarded the "Committed" badge for sustainability in August 2024 by EcoVadis. The company received recognition at the 6th Road Safety Award by FICCI in partnership with the Government of India.

Agarwal said that with the increased public infrastructure spends renewing the thrust on rail, waterways & multimodal-cargo-park projects clubbed with recovering private consumption, the company remains optimistic on growth in the coming quarters. By investing in technology, automation, and enhancing rail & coastal multimodal service offerings to expand its network, the company is continuously strengthening its capabilities to remain as the leaders in logistics.
