Sunil Khanduja, managing director, Ingersoll Rand

Ingersoll Rand, a company known for its role in flow creation and industrial technologies, has announced a new leadership appointment to support its growth strategy in India. The company's Board of Directors has appointed Sunil Khanduja as Managing Director of Ingersoll Rand (India) Limited for a five-year term, effective from November 12, 2024, through November 11, 2029. In this role, Khanduja will oversee the Compression Systems & Services business in India.

Khanduja previously served as the Business Head for a key vertical at Ingersoll Rand India and also held the position of Director, responsible for overseeing multiple manufacturing locations and warehouses across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa (EMEIA). In these roles, he contributed to business growth, supply chain management, and operational efficiency.

Speaking about his appointment, Khanduja highlighted the alignment between the company's regional strategy and its global goals. He stated that Ingersoll Rand's "in the region, for the region" approach emphasises local innovation and customer needs to support growth in India within the framework of the company’s broader objectives.

Ingersoll Rand has been a prominent player in India, focusing on industrial technologies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and reliability across various sectors. The company offers a diverse range of products and services, primarily centering on compressed air systems, material handling equipment, fluid management, and power tools.
