Gurugram-based Spyne, an AI platform for automotive retail, announced on April 23, 2025, that it has achieved 5X annual growth and now aims to onboard 4,000 automotive dealerships worldwide in FY25. The company currently serves over 1,500 dealerships globally and has expanded its operations to more than 47 countries.
Spyne has partnered with prominent automotive groups including Greenway Auto Group, Clay Cooley Auto Group, Covert Bee Group, Sell Any Car, CARS24, Carsa, and Motor Auction Group, as well as OEMs like Toyota and BMW. The company has set a growth target of 200% for the current financial year.
Founded in 2020 by Deepti Prasad and Sanjay Varnwal, Spyne provides a unified platform that helps dealerships manage the entire vehicle selling process—from pricing and inventory digitization to lead management and high-quality listing creation. The company particularly focuses on empowering small and mid-sized dealers with digital tools to compete effectively in today's market.
To accelerate its expansion, Spyne has launched a dedicated outbound sales engine to build partnerships across India, EMEA, Southeast Asia, and Australia. The company is also increasing its recruitment efforts in engineering and sales departments to support its growing global presence.
"The global used car market is growing at an unprecedented pace, and so is the competition and the pressure to deliver enhanced experiences. But, the traditional ways of running dealerships are no longer sustainable in today's dynamic market," said Sanjay Varnwal, CEO and Co-founder of Spyne.
"With a shift in consumer behaviour and their rising expectations, it's critical for dealerships, especially in the used-car segment, to embrace digital transformation. Our mission is to turn every partner into a smart dealership, equipped to grow and compete effectively. Tying up with over 1,500 dealerships globally is a strong validation of that vision, and we're aiming to enable 4,000 dealerships in the coming year," he further added.
Spyne's platform is particularly valuable in markets like India, where many dealers still operate using traditional offline methods and manual record-keeping. The company's AI-powered solutions help these businesses transition to more efficient digital operations, enabling them to manage their businesses intelligently and increase sales.
Originally launched as an AI-powered visual merchandising solution, Spyne has evolved into a comprehensive automotive retail platform that manages the entire vehicle lifecycle from sourcing to sale.
