Sonalika Tractors, India's leading tractor export brand, has reported robust sales figures for February 2025, with 10,493 tractors sold across all markets.
The company announced today that it has achieved its highest-ever domestic year-to-date (YTD) sales through February 2025, with 113,279 tractors delivered to Indian farmers. This performance has outpaced the broader industry growth according to company officials.
"We are overwhelmed to have recorded a splendid February 2025 overall sales of 10,493 tractors, clocking highest ever domestic YTD Feb'25 sales and surpass the industry performance," said Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, Sonalika's parent company.
Mittal emphasized the company's commitment to sustainable growth and rural development, stating that Sonalika aims for "inclusive growth for all stakeholders" while building "a future for farmers that thrives with innovations and unstoppable growth."
Sonalika's performance reflects broader positive trends in India's agricultural mechanization sector, as farmers increasingly adopt modern equipment to improve productivity and efficiency.
The company continues to focus on both technological advancement and ecological responsibility, embracing what it describes as "eco-friendly practices" while promoting initiatives to support rural communities across India.
Meanwhile, rival Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M): Mahindra, the market leader with a commanding share, reported domestic tractor sales of approximately 23,880 units in February 2025, an 18% increase from the 20,121 units sold in February 2024. Including exports, total sales reached 25,527 units, bolstered by a robust product portfolio featuring models like the Yuvo Tech+ series.
