Sonalika Reports Record Tractor Sales of 1.53 Lakh Units, Captures 14.8% Market Share in FY25

International Tractors Limited (ITL), the manufacturer behind Sonalika and Solis tractor brands, has announced its highest-ever annual tractor sales of 1,53,764 units for the financial year 2024–25. The company also achieved a market share of 14.8%, marking a new milestone in its operations.

The growth was driven by strong performance in the domestic market and steady demand in over 150 countries where its products are sold. Sonalika’s range of heavy-duty tractors, which cater to diverse farming needs, played a key role in the company’s sales performance.

ITL also made its debut on the Fortune 500 India list for 2025, ranking 237th among the country’s top 500 companies. Additionally, the company was recognised among the top 10 automotive brands in India by Fortune 500 India.

During the year, ITL introduced initiatives aimed at improving pricing transparency, including the ‘One Nation-One Tractor-One Price’ policy, which standardised tractor pricing across regions. The company has also continued to display its tractor prices on its website for the past two years, in an effort to provide greater clarity to buyers.

Product innovation remained a focus area, with the launch of the Cheetah series in Maharashtra. Designed for orchard and vineyard applications, the tractors in this series fall within the 18-32 HP range and feature larger engines, improved hydraulics, updated styling, and advanced cooling systems.

All Sonalika tractors are manufactured at the company’s integrated and robotic facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. ITL produces a wide range of models across various horsepower segments.
