The program combines adventure motorcycling with military special forces training techniques, aiming to challenge participants' perceived limitations.
The initiative builds on Royal Enfield's existing connection with the Indian Armed Forces. The partnership with C.L.A.W. focuses on encouraging participants to overcome mental barriers and approach adventure with openness. The Himalayas, which have long inspired Royal Enfield, serve as the backdrop for this program. The company's recently developed Himalayan 450 motorcycle reflects this inspiration. Both organisations have expressed commitment to sustainability efforts in the Himalayan region.
Mohit Dhar Jayal, Chief Brand Officer of Royal Enfield, stated that the company believes in building resilience in both machines and mindsets. He noted that the Unlimit program aims to empower individuals to adapt and overcome challenges, potentially transforming their mind, body, and spirit.
The program's initial phase included a 7-day expedition in the Nanda Devi Sanctuary, Uttarakhand. Participants included military veterans, specially-abled adventure enthusiasts, and civilians from both organisations. The expedition combined motorcycle riding with activities such as rock climbing, white water rafting, and trekking. It also incorporated training in survival skills, self-defense, first aid, navigation, and search and rescue.
Major Vivek Jacob, founder of C.L.A.W. Global, described the initiative as a new approach to exploring human potential, combining motorcycling, mindset development, skills training, and adventure.
The Unlimit program is intended to be an ongoing collaboration. It aims to train diverse groups of participants in a 'Survive, Stabilise and Thrive' mindset, providing them with skills applicable to various life challenges. Interested individuals can submit an expression of interest form to apply for participation in future expeditions.
