Routematic Appoints Chidananda Murthy as Vice President of People and Culture

Corporate mobility solutions provider Routematic has announced the appointment of Chidananda Murthy as Vice President of People and Culture. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s human resources strategy, talent development, and workplace culture.  

Chidananda Murthy brings over two decades of experience in HR leadership, having worked with multinational organizations. Prior to joining Routematic, he managed human resources for Walmart Global Sourcing across India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, overseeing business expansion, talent retention, and succession planning. His career also includes roles at Nokia Networks, IBM, Oracle, and Huawei, where he worked on HR strategy, post-merger integrations, and leadership development.  

Commenting on the appointment, Kavitha Ramachandragowda, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Routematic, stated that Murthy’s expertise in human capital management will support the company’s growth and enhance its workplace environment. She added that his leadership will contribute to strengthening the organization’s culture and talent management initiatives.  

Murthy expressed his enthusiasm for joining Routematic, highlighting the company’s current growth phase. He emphasized the importance of fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment that aligns with the company’s long-term objectives.  

Routematic provides corporate mobility solutions focused on efficiency and sustainability. The company has recently expanded its presence in India, launching a third Command Center in Hyderabad alongside its existing centers in Bengaluru and Pune. It has also introduced electric vehicles into its fleet as part of its efforts to support India’s green mobility goals.
