Rolls-Royce Launches Ghost Series II in India, Starting at Rs. 8.95 Crore

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has officially launched its latest iteration of the Ghost Series II in India, marking a significant milestone for the luxury automotive manufacturer. The vehicle, now available for order at Rolls-Royce's Chennai and New Delhi showrooms, represents the most technologically sophisticated V12 model in the company's lineup.

The new Ghost Series II showcases an evolution of its signature design, featuring refined exterior styling that builds upon its foundational architecture. At its core, the vehicle houses an advanced twin-turbocharged engine, complemented by sophisticated engineering features including the Planar Suspension system, Flagbearer, and Satellite Aided Transmission systems, all designed to enhance the driving experience.

In a significant technological upgrade, the Ghost Series II introduces the new SPIRIT digital interface alongside the exclusive Whispers private members app. The vehicle also boasts enhanced audio capabilities, improved internet connectivity, and integrated video streaming functions, elevating the in-car entertainment experience.

Irene Nikkein, Regional Director Asia-Pacific for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented on the launch: "Ghost Series II remains faithful to its principles, yet it elevates every aspect of its presence. With the Indian luxury market expanding by almost a third in 2024, we anticipate strong interest from clients looking to create distinctive motor cars."

The launch includes three variants: the standard Ghost Series II, Ghost Extended Series II, and Black Badge Ghost Series II. The Extended version offers additional space and customization options, while the Black Badge edition presents a more dynamic interpretation of the model.

Pricing for the new lineup begins at Rs. 8.95 cr for the standard Ghost Series II, with the Extended Series II starting at Rs. 10.19 cr and the Black Badge Ghost Series II from Rs. 10.52 cr Final pricing depends on individual client specifications and customization choices.

The introduction of the Ghost Series II in India reinforces Rolls-Royce's commitment to the growing Indian luxury automobile market, offering customers unprecedented levels of personalization and technological advancement in the ultra-luxury segment.
