TVS has teased the naked derivative of the Apache RR 310 again, with its India launch slated to take place on September 6. TVS has also opened pre-bookings for this bike.

TVS Apache RTR 310: what can be seen?

Right off the bat, we can see that the RR 310 derivative shares nothing in terms of design with the BMW G 310 R (its naked Bavarian counterpart). The headlight seems to be mounted quite a bit lower, with two separate DRL units visible in the dimly lit teaser video.

What can be discerned, however, is that the bike in this video features winglets. The motorcycle also features lever protectors, which could be offered as optional extras along with the aforementioned winglets. The sub-frame on this upcoming naked bike also looks like it will be very different to the Apache RR 310, and we’ve already established that it will get a low-mount number plate holder. There also appears to be a fluid reservoir on the left hand side, which is usually found on premium bikes that have a hydraulically actuated clutch. However, it remains to be seen whether this will be the first Indian bike to debut that.

While the styling and feature set will likely be very different, expect the mechanicals to be quite familiar with to the Apache RR 310. When the naked iteration of the TVS Apache RR 310 launches, it will rival the likes of the BMW  G 310 (Rs 2.85 lakh), Honda CB300R (Rs 2.77 lakh) and the brand new 399cc KTM 390 Duke.
