Pininfarina announced that it has closed a commercial agreement with a large automotive OEM covering development and production services.

The total contract value, including some preliminary concept activities already executed based on specific orders from 2023, amounts to over 90 million Euro, with duration until April 2026.

Pininfarina debuted its Battista hypercar in India at the Hyderabad E-Motor Show in 2023.

Globally revealed in early 2019, the Battista is a limited-run hypercar from the storied Italian design house. Described as “the most powerful road-legal Italian car ever built”, the all-electric Battista makes 1,900hp from a quad motor powertrain.

Earlier this month, Automobili Pininfarina unveiled the new Battista Targamerica as the world’s first coach-built electric hypercar, commissioned by a renowned car collector and existing Battista owner. The one-off Battista Targamerica debuted at The Quail, a motorsport gathering at Monterey Car Week, and is also the brand’s first client-commissioned coach-built vehicle.
