ORIX Auto infrastructure services rebrands as ORIX Corporation India Ltd.

ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd., a provider of mobility and financial services solutions, has officially been renamed ORIX Corporation India Ltd. The updated name reflects the company's strategic evolution and continued focus on the mobility and financial services sectors in India.

With its global experience and diverse range of services, ORIX Corporation India Ltd. has established itself as a significant player in the financial services and mobility solutions market in India. The company plans to continue expanding its offerings and focus on customer-centric solutions to meet evolving needs.

Yoshiaki Matsuoka, Head of the Global Business Group, ORIX Corporation, explained that the name change aligns with the company's purpose of "Finding Paths. Making Impact." He added that the change reflects ORIX's global business philosophy of identifying growth sectors and leveraging expertise to contribute to market development, especially in emerging markets like India.

Vivek Wadhera, MD & Group CEO of ORIX Corporation India Ltd., noted that the new identity reflects the company’s commitment to providing innovative mobility solutions. He also highlighted the role of ORIX’s global presence and its legacy in Japan as factors that position the company for future growth in India.

ORIX Corporation India Ltd. operates as a key player in India’s financial services and mobility solutions sectors. A subsidiary of Japan-based ORIX Corporation, the company offers leasing, fleet management, infrastructure financing, and other value-added services.

Over the years, it has built a diverse portfolio, catering to both corporate clients and individual customers. The company’s rebranding reflects its focus on consolidating operations under a unified identity, enhancing its ability to compete in a dynamic market.

In India, ORIX competes with several established rivals in both mobility and financial services. Companies like LeasePlan India and ALD Automotive India pose significant competition in fleet management and leasing, offering tailored solutions to corporate and institutional clients.

Meanwhile, financial services competitors include players like Tata Capital, Mahindra Finance, and HDFC Bank, which provide leasing, lending, and infrastructure financing services with extensive market reach and diverse offerings.

The competitive landscape in India is marked by innovations in technology and evolving customer preferences. ORIX distinguishes itself through its global expertise and focus on comprehensive mobility solutions.

However, rivals leverage local market knowledge and extensive networks, creating a highly competitive environment. As demand for financial and mobility services grows, ORIX and its competitors are likely to expand their portfolios and strengthen their market presence.
