Odysse Electric Vehicles recorded sales of 312 units in February 2025, achieving a 10% month-on-month growth as demand for electric mobility solutions continues to rise in India, the company announced Friday.
The premium electric vehicle manufacturer has expanded its presence to over 150 cities across 17 states in India, recently strengthening its footprint in Haryana and Punjab while consolidating operations in Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
"We are pleased with the sustained growth in February 2025, reflecting the increasing momentum in India's electric two-wheeler segment," said Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. Vora attributed the growth to rising environmental awareness, government policies supporting electric mobility, and advancements in EV technology.
Founded in 2020, Odysse Electric offers a portfolio of seven models, including two low-speed scooters, two high-speed scooters, a delivery scooter for business customers, an electric sports bike, and a commuter bike. The company's product lineup features models like the Vader motorcycle with touchscreen display, the EVOQIS bike with keyless entry, and the SNAP scooter with portable battery technology.
The growth comes as India's electric two-wheeler market continues to evolve, with government initiatives like production-linked incentives and subsidies helping drive adoption. Industry analysts predict the segment will see significant expansion as infrastructure improves and battery technology advances.
Odysse Electric's steady sales figures align with broader industry trends, as urban consumers increasingly seek alternatives to traditional combustion engine vehicles amid rising fuel costs and environmental concerns.
The company anticipates further growth in the coming months as it approaches the festive season, traditionally a strong period for vehicle sales in India.
