Maserati marks 110 years with global celebrations

Maserati has celebrated its 110th anniversary with events and activities organised across various global locations throughout December. These events engaged enthusiasts and loyal customers, highlighting the brand's rich history and commitment to innovation.  

The celebrations included exclusive unveilings, exhibitions, and on-road and on-track experiences that reflected Maserati's legacy of performance and design. Among the highlights were the introductions of the Maserati GT2 Stradale and the Maserati GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO special series.  

The Maserati GT2 Stradale represents a blend of sportiness and technical innovation, drawing inspiration from the Maserati GT2 racing car and the Maserati MC20. The Maserati GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO special series is a limited edition of 110 units, commemorating each year of the brand’s existence and symbolizing the connection between its past, present, and future.  

According to Maserati CEO Santo Ficili, the 110th anniversary provided an opportunity to reflect on the brand’s journey and engage with its community of enthusiasts while showcasing its evolution and future direction in luxury and performance.  

In Modena, Italy, Maserati organised a two-day event beginning on 30 November. Guests included members of the Maserati Italia Club, descendants of Ettore Maserati, and actress Matilda De Angelis. The event featured the unveiling of the Maserati GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO and a parade of 110 Maseratis, alongside cultural tours and a gala dinner at Casa Maria Luigia.  

In Tokyo, Japan, Maserati Japan hosted a celebration on 1 December at the Prince Hotel. The event featured a convoy tour from Tokyo to Chiba with 110 Maserati vehicles. The GT2 Stradale was introduced, and a fireworks display marked the conclusion of the festivities.  

In Seoul, South Korea, Maserati held an event on 12 December at the Italian Ambassador’s residence. The gathering included 160 guests, who were introduced to the GT2 Stradale and the brand’s history and innovative milestones.  

In Miami, Florida, on 5 December, Maserati’s dealer, The Collection, organized a gala in collaboration with the Concours Club during Miami Design Week. Attendees explored iconic Maserati vehicles such as the 8CTF, MC20 Icona, MC20 Cielo, and MCXtrema, with the Maserati GranTurismo 110 ANNIVERSARIO taking center stage.  

In Shanghai and Beijing, China, Maserati celebrated its anniversary alongside its 20th year in the Chinese market. The events included a parade in Shanghai and an LED light show at Sinar Mas Plaza and Shanghai International Port. Representatives from media outlets and industry organizations participated in the two-day program.
