Mahindra temporarily cuts prices of XUV700 AX7 by more than Rs 2 lakh
AX7 petrol variants of XUV700 are now priced from Rs 19.49 lakh; the AX7 diesel variants start from Rs 19.99 lakh.
Mahindra has temporarily reduced prices for the XUV700’s range-topping AX7 trim on the occasion of the SUV completing its third year in the market. Prices for the Mahindra XUV700 AX7 now start from Rs 19.49 lakh and go up Rs 24.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. These special prices are only applicable for four months.
Here’s a detailed look at the new XUV700 AX7 prices:
As you can see from the table above, the AX7 L Diesel-MT 7-str sees the minimum reduction in price of Rs 1.50 lakh, while the AX7 Diesel-AT 7-str sees the highest drop in price of Rs 2.20 lakh. This will surely be a shot in the arm for sales of top-spec trims of the XUV700.
The biggest draw of the AX7 and AX7 L trims are that they come fully loaded with all the bells and whistles the XUV700 has to offer. Highlights of the AX7 trim include the panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS suite, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 1-year free Adrenox subscription, TPMS, full-LED lighting, 18-inch alloys, leatherette upholstery, powered driver’s seat and six airbags including curtain airbags that extend till the third row.
The AX7 L adds features like 3D audio system by Sony, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, blind view monitor, adaptive cruise control, wireless charging and rear LED sequential turn indicators. All these features are now more accessible to buyers.
Mechanically, the AX7 and AX7 L trims continue with all existing powertrain options. That means you get the 200hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine or the 185hp 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine. Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox; the diesel engine gets an all-wheel drive option with the AT gearbox. Mahindra recently also celebrated the 2,00,000 unit production milestone of the XUV700.
