Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra, has reached a significant milestone by surpassing 200,000 electric vehicles (EVs) sold, further solidifying its position as a leading player in the commercial EV market in India.
The company has played a key role in driving electrification in the L5 segment, which saw an increase in EV penetration from 7.6% in FY23 to 21.7% year-to-date in FY25, according to Vahan data. In the past 17 months, Mahindra has sold over 100,000 EVs, supported by the launch of products such as the Treo Plus, e-Alfa Plus, and Mahindra ZEO.
MLMML holds a 41.2% market share in the L5 electric vehicle category, as per SIAM data. The company’s portfolio includes a range of small commercial electric vehicles, including the Mahindra Treo, e-Alfa, and Zor Grand three-wheelers. Recently, MLMML also expanded its offerings with the introduction of the Mahindra ZEO, a small electric four-wheeler in the <2t segment.
To support its growing customer base, Mahindra has also increased production capacity at its manufacturing plants in Bengaluru, Haridwar, and Zaheerabad. The company has also introduced a new customer loyalty program, UDAY NXT, which offers benefits such as ₹20 lakh in driver accidental insurance, career counseling for customers' children, and business/finance counseling services.
Suman Mishra, Managing Director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, emphasised the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation, highlighting that the milestone of 200,000 EVs is a reflection of its ongoing efforts to meet the evolving needs of urban logistics.
