AF Corse has officially announced its driver lineup for the 2025 Italian Gran Turismo Championship. The team will participate with four Ferrari 296 GT3 entries in the Endurance series and one in the Sprint series.
Indian driver Mahaveer Raghunathan will race in the Pro-Am category, sharing car number 51 with Italian driver Lorenzo Ferrari. They will compete in all eight rounds of the championship and will be joined by Riccardo Ponzio for the four Endurance races. Raghunathan is the only Indian driver in this year’s championship.
The 2025 season will feature 36 cars on the grid, an increase from 30 entries in 2024. The lineup includes several competitors from the GT World Challenge and FIA World Endurance Championship, contributing to a more competitive field.
“I’m looking forward to racing with AF Corse this season,” said Raghunathan. “It’s a good opportunity to drive alongside Lorenzo Ferrari in the Pro-Am class. The grid is strong, but I’m prepared for the challenge.”
Commenting further, he said, “This season will be competitive with many experienced drivers involved. I’m focused on delivering consistent performances throughout the year.”
AF Corse will also enter two crews in the Am category. Car number 50 will be driven by Simon Mann, Christoph Ulrich, and Edoardo Borelli. Jason Ambrose, David McDonald, and Francesco Castellacci will share driving duties in car number 83. Additionally, car number 62 will compete in the Pro-Am class with Ibrahim Badawy, Leonardo Colavita, and David Vidales.
The team’s lineup includes a mix of experienced professionals and younger drivers, as it prepares to compete across both Sprint and Endurance formats of the championship.
