Lynk & Co Launches 08 Plug-In Hybrid SUV with 200km Electric Range in Europe

Swedish-Chinese automaker Lynk & Co has announced the European launch of its 08 plug-in hybrid SUV, featuring what the company claims is the segment's longest all-electric range at 200km (WLTP) and DC fast-charging capability.

The 08 model, already available in China, will arrive in European markets in June 2025 with prices starting at €52,995. The vehicle aims to bridge the gap between conventional and fully electric vehicles, targeting consumers hesitant to make the complete transition to electric mobility.

According to company specifications, the 08 combines its electric range with a conventional gasoline engine to deliver a total driving range exceeding 1,100km. The vehicle's DC fast-charging feature allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 33 minutes.

The launch marks Lynk & Co's entry into the competitive D-segment SUV market and represents the third model in its European lineup. The company plans to expand its retail presence across Europe throughout 2025 while entering additional European markets.

The 08 will be offered in two trim levels—Core and More—and will be available through Lynk & Co retailers, the company's website, and at Lynk & Co Club locations. Interested customers can register on the company's website starting today to receive updates and schedule test drives when the vehicle becomes available.

This launch forms part of Lynk & Co's broader strategy to expand its footprint in the European automotive market through new product offerings and sales channels as the industry continues its transition toward electrification.
