Lexus India introduces ES Luxury Plus Edition

Lexus India has launched the ES Luxury Plus Edition, featuring new accessories designed to enhance both the vehicle's appearance and functionality. The model is part of the brand's efforts to deliver high quality and sophisticated luxury.

The Lexus ES 300h, a significant model in Lexus's lineup, has been integral to the brand's growth in India. Known for its elegant design, quiet operation, and hybrid electric powertrain, the ES 300h has been a major contributor to Lexus's sales in India, accounting for about 55% of total sales in the first half of 2024. It is locally manufactured under the 'Make in India' initiative.

The ES Luxury Plus Edition includes several updates: a silver grille to improve front aesthetics, rear lamp chrome garnish for a refined look, and an illuminated scuff plate with an LED Lexus logo for added interior sophistication. Additionally, the vehicle features a front courtesy logo lamp that projects the Lexus logo on the ground and a rear-seat pillow designed for enhanced comfort during long drives.

Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India, commented on the new edition, “With the introduction of the Lexus ES Luxury Plus Edition, we aim to elevate the luxury and sophistication of our offerings for the festive season. This edition, with its new accessories, is intended to enhance the driving experience by combining style, comfort, and innovation.”

Since its introduction in India in 2017, Lexus has focused on the Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi, which emphasizes respect and guest care. To further support this, Lexus India recently announced an 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty for all new Lexus models sold in India from June 2024 onwards. The company has also introduced a 5-year Roadside Assistance program starting February 2024 and will offer high-quality factory body coating from August 2024 to enhance the premium feel of its vehicles.

The Lexus ES Luxury Plus Edition is priced at Rs. 69,70,000 (Ex-Showroom All India) and will be available at Lexus Guest Experience Centers starting September. Installation of the new accessories will be handled at these centers to ensure precision and quality, reinforcing Lexus's commitment to delivering an exceptional ownership experience.
