Kylaq set to debut in India featuring Skoda's mew lettermark logo

Skoda recently unveiled its newest electric SUV, the Elroq, at Prague in the Czech Republic. The new electric SUV that will sit below the Enyaq previews the new design direction for the brand and the split headlamp setup.

Interestingly, the Elroq does away with the Skoda arrow logo at the front, rear and the steering boss and instead carries the Skoda lettermark logo. And it's likely that the upcoming Kylaq will have the same treatment.

At the sidelines of the event, in response to a question from Autocar India about the Kylaq carrying the lettermark logo, Oliver Stefani, head of Skoda design, alluded to this, saying, “I cannot say anything about that now, adding, “This is the new design direction for the brand and our new products as well as updates of the existing line-up, when they happen, will all be updated accordingly.”

The new lettermark logo also ushers in a new corporate identity that will be carried across the brand’s communication as well as the entire dealer network. By the time the Kylaq arrives, which is early next year, the entire Skoda dealership network will be updated to the new look.
