New Kia K4 sedan revealed, rivals the Corolla, Civic
The design is in line with Kia’s newer cars including Carnival, EV5, EV9 and others.
Kia has unveiled the second-gen version of the K4 sedan with a brand-new design on the lines of its ‘Opposites United’ styling philosophy. While technical specifications are yet to be announced, the exterior and interior design of the sedan have been revealed ahead of its public debut at the New York Auto Show.
2025 Kia K4 exterior
Kia says that the K4 designers aimed to create a modern and unique body shape by twisting the connections of logically aligned squares in a seemingly ‘illogical fashion’, a process that is being referred to as ‘Twist Logic’. The design is in line with Kia’s newer cars including Carnival, EV5, EV9 and others.
At the front, the K4 gets sharp L-shaped vertical LED headlamps, with a tiny tiger nose grille in the middle. The sedan features a gently swooping roofline, with a large rear windscreen that gives it a liftback coupe-like appearance. The L-shaped lighting theme is carried over to the tail lights as well. The diamond-cut alloys add to its modern appeal. Furthermore, the rear door handles have been incorporated into the C-pillar.
2025 Kia K4 interior
Inside the cabin, the K4 gets a Slate Green theme, but Kia says that the sedan is also going to be offered with Canyon Brown, Onyx Black, and Medium Gray colour options for the interior. Interestingly, the drivers’ side door and passenger side door feature varying colour combinations.
A dual-screen display takes the center stage with a few physical buttons placed under it along with a rotary controller. The two-spoke steering wheel is flattened out on the top and bottom, and features an offset Kia emblem. Except features and other specs to be revealed closer to its launch.
2025 Kia K4 launch and positioning
The Kia K4 is all set to make its full public debut on March 27 at the New York Auto Show. It is expected to go on sale in the United States later this year, where it will rival the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Hyundai Elantra.
We do not expect it to be brought to India. Instead, Kia is working on introducing a new sub-4-metre lifestyle SUV in the Indian market known as Clavis, which will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in its portfolio.
