JSW MG Windsor EV set to be booked at Rs 11,000

JSW MG Motor India has announced that bookings for the MG Windsor, branded as India's first Intelligent CUV, will begin on October 3, 2024, at 7:30 am. Customers can reserve the vehicle by visiting an MG dealership or by using the MG Motor India website, with a booking amount set at INR 11,000. Deliveries for the vehicle will start on October 12, 2024.

The MG Windsor offers a blend of sedan comfort with the spaciousness of an SUV, aiming to provide versatility to its users. The vehicle features an aerodynamic design, spacious interiors, advanced safety features, smart connectivity, and multiple high-tech features, designed to enhance driving comfort.

It is available at an initial price of Rs 9.99 lakh plus Rs 3.5 per kilometer under the Battery as a Service (BaaS) program. Alternatively, customers can opt for an outright purchase starting at Rs 13,49,800 (ex-showroom).

The MG Windsor is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence, with corresponding ex-showroom prices and BaaS program details as follows:

The Excite variant of the MG Windsor is priced at Rs 13,49,800, and under the BaaS program, it has an upfront cost of Rs 9,99,000 with a battery rental rate of Rs 3.50 per kilometer. The Exclusive variant is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 14,49,800, with the BaaS option priced at Rs 10,99,000 and the same battery rental rate of Rs 3.50 per kilometer. The top-tier Essence variant is offered at Rs 15,49,800, and through the BaaS program, it can be availed for an upfront price of Rs 11,99,000, with the battery rental rate remaining at Rs 3.50 per kilometer.

The MG Windsor is powered by a 38 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is IP67 certified for durability. It delivers a power output of 100KW (136ps) and 200Nm of torque through four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport. The vehicle offers a range of 332 kilometers on a single charge, certified by ARAI. Customers can choose from four color options: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.

Additional features include a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, one-year free charging at public charging points via the eHUB by MG app, and a buyback assurance of 60% of the car's value after three years or 45,000 kilometers. The MG e-Shield package offers a 3-3-3 plan, which includes a three-year unlimited kilometer warranty on the vehicle, three years of roadside assistance coverage, and three labor-free services.
