JSW MG Motor India announced the delivery of 201 electric vehicles in a single day in Bengaluru. The deliveries included the MG Windsor, billed as India’s first intelligent CUV; the MG ZS EV, described as India’s first pure electric internet SUV; and the MG Comet, positioned as a compact and city-friendly EV. Additionally, Bengaluru Airport Taxi adopted a greener fleet by deploying 75 MG ZS EVs in collaboration with Refex Green Mobility. This achievement reflects the increasing market interest in the company’s electric vehicle lineup.

JSW MG Motor India has launched a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program aimed at offering a flexible ownership experience. This program removes the upfront cost of the EV battery, allowing customers to pay for battery usage based on kilometers traveled. Under the BaaS plan, the MG Comet EV is available at ₹4.99 lakh with a battery rental of ₹2.5 per kilometer, the MG Windsor is priced at ₹9.99 lakh with a battery rental of ₹3.5 per kilometer, and the MG ZS EV is offered at ₹13.99 lakh with a battery rental of ₹4.5 per kilometer.

The MG ZS EV, MG Comet, and MG Windsor represent MG Motor's expanding electric vehicle portfolio, designed to cater to diverse consumer preferences while promoting sustainable mobility.

The MG ZS EV is crafted to provide an elevated driving experience with a focus on comfort and performance. It offers a range of 461 kilometers on a single charge under standard conditions, making it suitable for long-distance travel. The vehicle features i-SMART technology, which integrates over 75 connected features for enhanced convenience and safety. Its spacious interiors accommodate family travel comfortably, while premium design elements contribute to its appeal.

The MG Comet is designed for urban environments, prioritising practicality and maneuverability. Its compact size and agile design make it ideal for navigating crowded streets and tight parking spaces. Equipped with over 55 connected features and MG’s i-SMART technology, the Comet ensures a connected and efficient driving experience. Its small turning radius further enhances usability in dense cityscapes.

The MG Windsor stands out as a crossover utility vehicle (CUV), blending sedan-like comfort with the spaciousness of an SUV. Its aerodynamic design emphasises performance and efficiency, while its luxurious interiors focus on passenger comfort. The Windsor has a range of 332 kilometers under standard conditions and is equipped with advanced connectivity features for a seamless driving experience. Safety remains a key aspect, with robust systems ensuring peace of mind for drivers and passengers.
