JK Tyre opens 100th JK truck wheels brand shop in Erode, Tamil Nadu
The new 15,000 sq. ft. outlet aims to enhance fleet and commercial vehicle support in Tamil Nadu, offering advanced wheel servicing, a wide range of tyres, and expert guidance for seamless customer service.
JK Tyre & Industries has opened its 100th JK Truck Wheels brand shop in India, marking a notable milestone in the company’s retail expansion efforts. The outlet is situated on Salem Bypass Road, Gangapuram, in Erode, Tamil Nadu, and aims to address the needs of fleet operators and commercial vehicle owners in the region.
The facility, spanning over 15,000 square feet, is operated by Sri Balaji Tyres and offers a range of solutions for trucks and buses. These include advanced wheel servicing equipment, a selection of smart and conventional tyres, and an experience zone highlighting JK Tyre’s retail identity. The shop is supported by trained technical advisors to provide expert guidance and efficient service.
Inaugurating the brand shop, Mr. Anuj Kathuria, President (India), JK Tyre & Industries, emphasised the significance of this development. He noted that the new outlet reinforces the company’s commitment to providing efficient and customer-centric tyre solutions. The choice of Erode, situated within a key transport hub in Tamil Nadu, reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in regions that are pivotal for commercial vehicle operations.
Tamil Nadu, a prominent market for tubeless truck and bus tyres, plays a critical role in JK Tyre’s regional strategy. The company has a strong network of 1,600 touchpoints across South India and plans to increase its market share in cities such as Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem, Karur, Kanyakumari, Madurai, and Puducherry.
JK Tyre operates an extensive nationwide retail network, comprising over 850 exclusive brand shops and more than 6,000 channel partners. The company’s focus on expanding its portfolio and enhancing its market presence aligns with its efforts to cater to the evolving needs of customers in the commercial vehicle segment.
The opening of the Erode brand shop is part of JK Tyre’s broader strategy to deliver integrated solutions for commercial vehicles and advance its role in shaping the future of the Indian tyre industry.
