India to lead transport fuel demand growth, defying global trend: IEA

While emerging economies in Asia, particularly China and India, are expected to account for all of the global oil demand growth between 2023 and 2030, India is expected to be the biggest contributor to global demand in the second half of the decade (2025-2030), according to the International Energy Agency.
