The India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) has partnered with Messe Muenchen India (MMI), Solar Promotion International (SPI), and Freiburg Management and Marketing International to organise the EV Asia Expo 2024, scheduled for February 21-23, 2024, at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The inaugural edition of EV Asia Expo aims to redefine the landscape of clean mobility. With more than 150 exhibitors expected from across the globe and over 10,000 trade visitors, this event will span across a vast 8,000+ sq mts of exhibition space.

Under this partnership, both IESA and MMI will curate specialised conferences tailored for the electric mobility sectors.

IESA, founded by Customized Energy Solutions (CES) in 2012, boasts a network of more than 180 member companies spanning a wide spectrum of industry verticals. From energy storage and EV manufacturing to EV charging infrastructure, green hydrogen, microgrids, power electronics, renewable energy, research institutions, universities, and cleantech startups – IESA brings together the best minds in the clean energy sphere.

Rahul Walawalkar, founder and President, India Energy Storage Alliance and Customized Energy Solutions (CES), said “The clean transportation movement is gaining momentum today, and India will be one of the world's largest markets for clean mobility technologies including battery manufacturing, EV manufacturing, EV components development, indigenous R&D and electric vehicles."

Bhupinder Singh, CEO of Messe Muenchen India, speaking on the collaboration said, “The partnership's significance is that it establishes a specialised platform for electric vehicles (EVs) in India. By leveraging IESA's extensive network of companies and institutions in EV and batteries, this collaboration aims to attract global EV-focused exhibitors and visitors. This will bring German expertise and fill a void in the Indian EV industry's international trade fair scene. Our joint plan includes hosting conferences on electric mobility market opportunities, aligning with India's goal of achieving Net Zero by 2070. Together, we are determined to bolster the industry's power and potential."
