Hyundai Unveils IONIQ 6 Lineup at Seoul Mobility Show 2025

Hyundai Motor Company today unveiled its redesigned IONIQ 6 and IONIQ 6 N Line models at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025 in Korea. The launch reflects Hyundai's  evolving  electrified streamliner lineup, building on the design legacy of the original IONIQ 6 introduced in 2022.

The facelifted IONIQ 6 introduces refined proportions and curves while maintaining its signature streamlined design. The newly expanded lineup features distinct models, each embodying Hyundai's concept, ‘Pure Flow, Refined.’

Simon Loasby, Senior Vice President and Head of Hyundai Design Center, emphasized the design philosophy, stating, “IONIQ 6 has evolved from a single Electrified Streamliner into a lineup, each model expressing its own character while staying true to one refined vision.”

The 'Pure Flow, Refined' concept focuses on harmonizing body flow and detailing to enhance the identity of electrified streamliners. Hyundai aims to connect the design lines more precisely and naturally across the new models.

The IONIQ 6 features an elevated hood and extended shape, combined with a shark-nose design, to create a profile that prioritizes aerodynamics. A new ducktail spoiler replaces the prominent spoiler of the previous generation, maintaining aerodynamic efficiency while smoothing the vehicle's silhouette. The front and rear designs have been updated with separate slim DRLs, main lamps, and chrome garnish on the rear bumper, contributing to a modern appearance.

The interior design continues the 'Mindful Cocoon' concept, focusing on comfort and functionality. Enhancements include a redesigned steering wheel, upgraded door trim materials, and a refined center console layout. An enlarged climate control display further improves usability.

The IONIQ 6 N Line, unveiled alongside the standard model, incorporates design DNA from the RN22e Rolling Lab introduced in 2022. It features sculptural front and rear bumpers, wing-inspired designs, and black color elements along with the two-dimensional Parametric Pixel lamp.

Hyundai also announced that the IONIQ 6 N, a high-performance electrified streamliner, is scheduled for unveiling in July 2025.

The updated IONIQ 6 lineup integrates aerodynamic improvements, and expanded model variations, reflecting Hyundai's ongoing development in electrified mobility solutions.
