Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced new variants and feature upgrades for the Hyundai Creta. The mid-size SUV has reached over 1.2 million customers in India.
The new SX Premium and EX (O) variants introduce additional features. The SX Premium variant includes front-row ventilated seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, a Bose premium 8-speaker sound system, leatherette seats, and scooped seats for added comfort. The EX (O) variant now comes with a panoramic sunroof and LED reading lamps.
The Hyundai Creta SX (O) variant has been updated with a rain sensor, a rear wireless charger, and scooped seats. Additionally, a Smart Key with a motion sensor has been introduced in the S (O) and higher variants, enhancing security. The Titan Grey Matte and Starry Night color options are now available across all variants.
The Hyundai Creta is a mid-size SUV positioned as one of Hyundai Motor India Limited’s (HMIL) key offerings in the Indian market. With a design that aligns with Hyundai’s global SUV lineup, the current-generation Creta features a bold front grille, split LED headlamps, and a sculpted body. The SUV is available in multiple variants, catering to a wide range of customers.
The Creta offers petrol and diesel powertrain options, including a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5L diesel engine. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual, an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), a seven-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), and a six-speed automatic.
Inside, the Creta is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also features a digital instrument cluster, a Bose premium 8-speaker sound system, front-row ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof in select variants. The higher trims offer an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, ambient lighting, and a wireless charger for added convenience.
Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, and a rear-view camera. Higher variants come with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning.
