Hyundai Aura Hy-CNG E base variant launched at Rs 7,48,600
The new variant offers a 1.2L Bi-Fuel engine, advanced safety features, and fuel efficiency of 28.4 km/kg.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced the AURA Hy-CNG E trim at a price of Rs 7,48,600 (Ex-showroom). Hy-CNG stands for hybrid technology that features the use of twin CNG cylinders.
Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India Limited, commented on the launch, stating, "With over 200,000 units sold since its launch, the Hyundai AURA is designed to meet the needs of modern consumers. We believe that this new variant will offer customers more options tailored to their needs."
The Hyundai AURA CNG E trim includes comfort and convenience features such as front power windows, driver seat height adjustment, adjustable rear seat headrests, and a 8.89 cm (3.5”) speedometer with multi-information display. The sedan also features Z-shaped LED taillamps. Safety features include 6 airbags, 3-point seat belts for all seats, seatbelt reminders for all seats, and a CNG system designed with a leak-proof design, CNG switch, and a convenient refueling nozzle located near the petrol filling area.
The AURA Hy-CNG E trim is powered by a 1.2L Bi-Fuel petrol with CNG engine, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It delivers 50.5 kW (69 PS) of power at 6000 rpm and 95.2 Nm (9.7 kgm) of torque at 4000 rpm. The fuel efficiency is rated at 28.4 km/kg.
