Hyundai Alcazar Now Offers Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
New adapter eliminates need for cables across multiple variants of three-row SUV, addressing growing consumer demand for seamless smartphone connectivity.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched a new Wired to Wireless Adapter for its Alcazar SUV, allowing owners to use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly. The announcement was made in Gurugram on April 2, 2025.
The adapter is designed to transform the in-car experience by enabling users to access mobile applications through the vehicle's infotainment system without connecting a cable. This enhancement will be available across the Alcazar's Prestige, Platinum, and Signature variants.
"At HMIL, our focus is to empower customers by providing best-in-class technology that elevates their driving experience," said Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer at Hyundai Motor India Limited. He added that this innovation aims to meet the expectations of tech-savvy customers who desire seamless connectivity during their journeys.
The adapter supports both major smartphone platforms, allowing drivers to navigate maps, stream music, and use voice commands through their vehicle's built-in system. Prices for the Alcazar models equipped with this technology start at INR 17,21,700 for both the 1.5 Turbo Petrol and 1.5 Diesel Prestige 7-seater variants.
The wireless adapter represents Hyundai's ongoing commitment to incorporating modern technology into its vehicles. As consumer demand for seamless digital integration grows, automakers are increasingly focusing on enhancing connectivity features.
The Alcazar, Hyundai's three-row SUV, has been in the Indian market for several years and competes in the mid-size SUV segment. This technology upgrade comes at a time when wireless smartphone integration is becoming a standard expectation among new car buyers.
