Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) reported its total sales figures for November 2024, which stood at 4,72,749 units. This includes domestic sales of 4,32,888 units and exports of 39,861 units.
For the financial year to date (April–November 2024), HMSI recorded sales of 42,28,837 units, comprising 38,67,427 units in the domestic market and 3,61,410 units in exports.
In November 2024, HMSI introduced the Activa e: and QC1 models in its electric vehicle portfolio. These new products represent an electrified version of the Activa and a new offering aimed at enhancing the company’s sustainable mobility initiatives in India. Bookings for these models will open on January 1, 2025, with deliveries scheduled to begin in February 2025.
The company also organized road safety awareness campaigns in nine cities across India, including Hyderabad (Telangana), Guwahati (Assam), Bijapur (Karnataka), Karimnagar (Telangana), Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Kollam (Kerala), Alibag (Maharashtra), Jalna (Maharashtra), and Dwarka (Gujarat). These campaigns were aimed at promoting road safety education among the public.
With the introduction of its new electric vehicles, the Activa e: and QC1, the company has marked their entry into the electric mobility segment. The Activa e: represents an electrified version of the widely recognized Activa brand, aimed at combining familiarity with sustainability. Alongside it, the QC1 has been unveiled as an additional offering, broadening HMSI’s portfolio in the growing electric scooter market.
