Hero MotoCorp bolsters leadership team, appoints Vivek Anand as CFO and Rachna Kumar as CHRO
Vivek Kumar will assume his role as CFO on March 1st, 2024, while Rachna Kumar will join Hero MotoCorp on January 2nd, 2024.
Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Vivek Anand as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Rachna Kumar as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Vivek Anand, a Chartered Accountant with almost three decades of industry experience, previously served as CFO at DLF Limited and has a background in FMCG, Telecom, Consumer Healthcare, and Real Estate. Rachna Kumar, a seasoned HR leader with diverse industry experience, including consumer goods, food & beverages, oil & gas, and retail, joins Hero MotoCorp from Whirlpool Asia, where she was CHRO.
Vivek Anand will assume his role as CFO on March 1st, 2024, while Rachna Kumar will join Hero MotoCorp on January 2nd, 2024. Both executives will report to Niranjan Gupta, CEO of Hero MotoCorp.
The current COO & CHRO, Mike Clarke, expressed his intention to pursue opportunities outside the company and will remain with Hero MotoCorp until the end of October 2024. Since joining Hero in November 2020, Mike Clarke played a crucial role in leadership transition and development, significantly contributing to the Diversity and Inclusion agenda and supply chain initiatives.
