Global innovators to showcase battery solutions at Bharat Battery Show 2025
The Bharat Battery Show, part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, will feature over 100 global companies presenting advancements in battery technology, charging infrastructure, and energy storage.
The Bharat Battery Show, part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, is set to feature participation from over 100 companies across various countries, including the USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, and India. The event is expected to attract more than 500,000 visitors from over 50 countries and will take place at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from January 19-21, 2025.
The show, organized by the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) and supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, will focus on developments in the energy storage and mobility sectors. It will showcase innovations related to Lithium-Ion batteries, battery components, charging infrastructure, battery management systems (BMS), and recycling solutions, among others. The event is seen as an important step in positioning India as a significant player in the global mobility and energy storage market.
India’s energy storage sector has witnessed notable growth, with the country expected to reach 140+ GWh of ACC battery manufacturing capacity by 2030. Major industry players like AMARARAJA, LivGuard, Nash Energy, and Tata Power charging are among the exhibitors. The Bharat Battery Show will also feature products and solutions from companies focused on battery technologies, supply chain solutions, and energy storage systems.
The IESA, as a key industry partner, will host the event and highlight India’s progress in battery technology, clean mobility, and sustainable energy solutions. In addition to the Bharat Battery Show, IESA will organize two pre-conference events: the 4th India Battery Manufacturing & Supply Chain Summit (IBMSCS) on January 16-17, and the India Battery Recycling & Re-Use Summit (IBRRS) on January 18, 2025.
At the event, several companies will unveil new technologies. PolyProticChemicals, for instance, will present MetScav 90, a phosphinic acid-based extractant for cobalt and nickel separation from spent lithium-ion batteries. Bolt Earth, a leading EV charging network in India, will introduce the Blaze DC fast charger for 2-wheelers, which offers up to 35 km of range in just 15 minutes.
The Bharat Battery Show 2025 is expected to serve as a key platform for the exchange of ideas and innovations in battery technology and clean mobility, contributing to the development of India’s energy storage and electric vehicle infrastructure.
