Gabriel India Appoints Prashanth SN as New Chief Technical Officer

Gabriel India Ltd, a leading automotive components manufacturer, today appointed Prashanth SN as the company's new Chief Technical Officer (CTO), effective April 1, 2025.

Prashanth SN brings 25 years of extensive experience in the automotive industry to Gabriel India. He currently serves as the Vice President of R&D at TVS Motor Company, a position he has held since 2020. His background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University.

Prior to joining TVS, Prashanth spent 14 years with Bosch, working in both Japan and Germany. During his tenure at Bosch, he made significant contributions to the development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology and advanced chassis control systems. His experience spans both two-wheeler and four-wheeler markets, with leadership roles in Bosch's global advanced engineering and cross-Business Unit systems.

His career also includes a stint as a Product Development Engineer at Kernel Techno Soft, establishing him as an experienced leader in disruptive automotive technologies.

Gabriel India Limited, established in 1961, is part of the Anand Group and has been a significant player in the Indian automotive component manufacturing sector, specializing in ride control products including shock absorbers, struts, and front forks.

The company's announcement comes as the automotive industry continues to evolve with increasing focus on advanced technologies and innovation in vehicle dynamics and safety systems.

The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as disclosed in a regulatory filing to the BSE and National Stock Exchange.
