EKA Mobility signs MoU to supply 1000 electric buses to GreenCell Mobility

EKA Mobility will supply GreenCell Mobility with 1,000 intercity e-buses in 12-metre and 13.5-metre categories, in the coming few years.

 EKA Mobility signs MoU to supply 1000 electric buses to GreenCell Mobility

EKA Mobility and GreenCell Mobility have signed an Mou (Memorandum of Understanding), wherein EKA Mobility will supply 1000 inter city electric buses over the next couple of years, in the 12 and 13.5 metre category. 

Dr. Sudhir Mehta, Founder and Chairman of EKA Mobility said, "Public transportation, especially the intercity bus transportation is the primary mode of transport for more than 50% of Indians. By combining our expertise, we hope to set new standards in the commercial electric mobility, contributing considerably to the nation's sustainability objectives." 

Devndra Chawla, MD & CEO of GreenCell Mobility said, "This partnership not only strengthens our position in the market but also significantly aligns with our long-term vision for sustainable mobility." 

EKA Mobility shall be responsible for supply, sales, and service of these buses, along with delivering quality certification reports.

Just last week, EKA Mobility announced a Rs 850 crore partnership with Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands), to establish cutting-edge global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the region.
