CASE Construction Equipment has rolled out its first BS (CEV) Stage V-compliant machine from its manufacturing facility in Pithampur for the Indian market, the company announced today.
The rollout marks the beginning of production for CASE's upgraded equipment lineup, which includes two new vibratory compactors—the 952 NX and 450 NX—as well as the enhanced 1107 NX vibratory compactor. The portfolio also features advanced loader backhoe models: the 770 NX, 770 NX Magnum, and 851 NX.
These machines are equipped with advanced FPT F28 engines that comply with the latest emission standards while offering improved fuel efficiency and productivity. The equipment incorporates operator-focused features including digital instrument clusters, ergonomic controls, enhanced visibility, and improved safety features.
"India is fast emerging as a pivotal force in the global construction ecosystem as a manufacturing and innovation powerhouse," said Emre Karazli, Vice President Construction Segment, APAC & AME. "With the rollout of BS (CEV) Stage V-compliant equipment from our Pithampur facility, we are bringing globally benchmarked, sustainable technologies to India while reinforcing our global supply chain."
Shalabh Chaturvedi, Managing Director, CASE India & SAARC, noted that this development introduces equipment previously manufactured for international markets into the domestic landscape, providing Indian customers with machines that align with global standards.
The company says this launch strengthens its position in providing environmentally responsible construction equipment while supporting India's infrastructure development goals.
CASE Construction Equipment, a brand of CNH, has maintained a presence in India since 1989 and is recognized for its leadership in the vibratory compactor and backhoe loader segments. The Pithampur facility exports machines to over 100 countries worldwide.
The BS (CEV) Stage V compliance represents India's adoption of stricter emission standards for construction equipment vehicles, similar to international environmental regulations designed to reduce air pollution from non-road mobile machinery.
