BYD India is set to showcase a range of new energy vehicles at the forthcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The highlight will be the launch of the BYD Sealion7, a performance electric SUV, which is expected to be introduced to the Indian market by the first half of 2025. In addition to the Sealion7, other BYD products will be displayed, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
The Sealion7 combines ocean-inspired design elements with advanced features like Intelligent Torque Active Control (iTAC) and Cell to Body (CTB) technology. It is designed to offer a balance of performance and efficiency. Alongside the Sealion7, BYD will showcase its current product portfolio in India, including the award-winning BYD Seal, the dynamic BYD Atto 3 SUV, and the spacious BYD eMAX 7 MPV.
Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles Business at BYD India, highlighted that the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will serve as a key platform for demonstrating BYD’s advancements in electric vehicle technology. He also mentioned plans to expand BYD’s dealership network from 27 to 40 locations by the end of January 2025, reflecting BYD’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in India.
Visitors to the expo will have the opportunity to experience BYD’s current range of vehicles, as well as products from its global portfolio that have not previously been available in India. The BYD Seal has received recognition, including the Times Network Award for EV Sedan of the Year, the Autocar Award for Premium EV of the Year, and the Jagran HiTech Award for 2024 Premium Car of the Year.
