BMW Group India Announces Price Hike of Up to 3% from April 2025

BMW Group India's decision to raise prices comes amid rising operational costs and follows similar moves by other luxury automakers in the Indian market as the industry adapts to changing economic conditions.

BMW Group India Announces Price Hike of Up to 3% from April 2025

BMW Group India will increase prices by up to 3% across its BMW and MINI car range effective April 1, 2025, according to a company announcement made in Gurugram today. The price adjustment will apply to all locally produced cars and completely built-up units (CBUs).

The locally manufactured lineup includes the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW 7 Series Long Wheelbase, BMW X1, BMW X3, BMW X5, BMW X7, BMW M340i and the all-electric BMW X1 Long Wheelbase.

Imported models that will see price increases include the BMW i4, BMW i5, BMW i7, BMW i7 M70, BMW iX, BMW Z4 M40i, BMW M2 Coupe, BMW M4 Competition, BMW M4 CS, BMW M5, BMW M8 Competition Coupe and the BMW XM Hybrid. The MINI lineup in India, consisting of the MINI Cooper S and all-electric MINI Countryman, will also be affected.

BMW India Financial Services offers customized financial plans for customers, including attractive monthly installments, reduced interest rates for select models, assured buy-back options and flexible end-of-term opportunities.

BMW India is a wholly owned subsidiary of the BMW Group with headquarters in Gurugram. The company has invested over INR 5.2 billion (€72 million) in its India operations. BMW's presence in India includes a manufacturing plant in Chennai, a parts warehouse in Pune, a training center in Gurugram, and development of a dealership network across metropolitan centers nationwide. The company currently maintains over 80 touchpoints in the Indian market and employs 650 people.
