BikeWo GreenTech Partners Green Drive Mobility to Deploy 5,000 Electric Trucks
BikeWo intends to invest up to Rs 150 crore to expand electric freight operations across India.
BikeWo Green Tech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green Drive Auto Services to jointly scale electric logistics operations to a target fleet of 5,000 electric trucks across India.
Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will target last-mile, mid-mile, and long-haul freight transportation across industrial, retail, and regional supply chains.
As part of the multi-year association, BikeWo intends to progressively invest up to Rs 150 crore in Green Drive Mobility. The capital will support fleet acquisition, operational infrastructure, and technology integration.
Green Drive Mobility currently operates a fleet of over 350 electric trucks and approximately 8,000 electric two-wheelers, serving enterprise logistics clients including More Retail, DHL, and Gati. The partnership combines Green Drive Mobility's fleet management infrastructure with BikeWo's financing and fleet ownership capabilities.
"Through this partnership, we aim to combine our strengths to build a significant green logistics platform, across first-mile, mid-mile, last-mile and long-haul transportation. Our shared ambition is to scale to at least 5,000 electric trucks, supported by progressive investments, institutional partnerships and sustainable business models," said Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech.
