Bajaj Auto’s total sales in May remain flat YoY
The Pune-based automaker sold a total of 355,323 vehicles in May, versus 355,148 vehicles in the year-ago period.
Bajaj Auto’s total sales during May remained flat on a year-on-year basis as the growth in commercial vehicle volumes helped the company offset the impact of the decline in two-wheeler sales during the period. Two-wheeler sales were lower due to weakness in the domestic market.
The Pune-based automaker sold a total of 355,323 vehicles in May, versus 355,148 vehicles in the year-ago period. Total two-wheeler sales declined by 1 percent on year to 305,482 units, while commercial vehicle volumes increased 5 percent to 49,841 units.
