Bajaj Auto Introduces GoGo: New Electric Three-Wheeler Brand

Bajaj Auto Ltd. has launched Bajaj GoGo, its dedicated brand of electric three-wheelers, featuring a range of 251 kilometers per charge. The company unveiled three passenger variants—P5009, P5012, and P7012—with prices starting at INR 3,26,797 for the P5009 and INR 3,83,004 for the P7012 (ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings have commenced across all Bajaj Auto dealerships nationwide.

The GoGo line introduces a two-speed automated transmission for performance on inclines. The vehicle specifications are indicated by the nomenclature system: 'P' designates passenger models, '50' and '70' represent size categories, and '09' and '12' denote battery capacities of 9 kWh and 12 kWh, respectively.

The vehicles feature a full-metal body construction and advanced safety systems including Auto Hazard and Anti-Roll Detection. Additional technical highlights include LED lighting, Hill Hold Assist functionality, and a 5-year battery warranty.

For operators seeking enhanced capabilities, Bajaj offers a 'Premium TecPac' with additional features such as remote immobilization and reverse assist.

Samardeep Subandh, President of the Intra City Business Unit at Bajaj Auto Ltd., emphasized the value proposition of the Bajaj GOGO range of three-wheelers.“With a certified range of up to 251 Kms, segment first features and the trusted Bajaj reliability and service Bajaj GOGO will provide a comprehensive solution to customers looking to maximise earnings and minimise hassle of downtime and maintenance.”

According to the company, the ‘GoGo’ brand name draws inspiration from the colloquial terminology for three-wheelers globally and represents the company's commitment to continuous innovation while maintaining its Indian heritage.

The current launch focuses on passenger vehicles, with Bajaj announcing that cargo variants will follow in the coming months, completing the GoGo product ecosystem.
