Atul Auto Limited, a leading three-wheeler manufacturer based in Gujarat, has announced strong sales performance for March 2025 and the full financial year 2024-25, according to a regulatory filing with the BSE and NSE today.

The company reported total sales of 3,693 units in March 2025, representing an 18.06% increase compared to 3,128 units sold in the same month last year. This growth comes after February's impressive performance when the company sold 2,900 units, marking a 26.09% year-on-year increase.

March 2025 Performance Highlights

Internal combustion (IC) engine three-wheelers continued to be the company's strongest segment, with sales jumping 32.36% to 2,990 units in March 2025 from 2,259 units in March 2024.

However, the EV-L3 category showed a significant decline of 42.94%, with sales dropping to 473 units compared to 829 units in the corresponding month last year. This continues the downward trend seen in February, when EV-L3 sales fell by 45.98%.

The standout performer was the EV-L5 segment, which saw an extraordinary growth of 475% with 230 units sold in March 2025 compared to just 40 units in March 2024. This impressive growth builds on February's remarkable 582.50% jump in the same segment.

Full Year FY25 Results Show Robust Growth

For the complete financial year 2024-25, Atul Auto reported total sales of 34,012 units, a strong 30.62% increase from 26,039 units in FY 2023-24.

The company's IC engine three-wheelers led the annual growth with a 35.84% increase to 25,375 units, while the EV-L3 category showed marginal growth of 0.96% at 6,970 units. The EV-L5 segment demonstrated exceptional performance with a 266.37% surge to 1,667 units for the year.

Domestic vs. Export Performance

Domestic sales for March 2025 stood at 3,391 units, up 17.50% from 2,886 units in March 2024, following February's more modest 11.32% domestic growth.

For the full year, domestic sales reached 30,776 units, representing a 29.32% increase from 23,798 units in the previous fiscal year, slightly better than the year-to-date figure of 27,385 units (up 30.95%) reported at the end of February.

Subsidiary Performance

The company noted that its subsidiary, Atul Greentech Private Limited, sold 234 vehicles in March 2025, though these were not included in the reported figures as they were part of Atul Auto Limited's standalone sales disclosure up to June 30, 2024.

The company is a notable player in the three-wheeler market, particularly in the traditional IC engine segment, and is diversifying into electric vehicle categories.
