Atmus Filtration Technologies Inc. a global company specialising in filtration and media solutions, has inaugurated its Pune Technical Center in India. This new facility aims to enhance the company’s focus on advancing filtration technology for the commercial vehicle sector worldwide.

The Pune Technical Center features a fully equipped laboratory designed to test and validate filtration products and prototypes. The facility ensures compliance with ISO and SAE standards by performing various advanced tests. These include evaluations of performance under thermally elevated and sub-zero conditions, assessments of dust and water retention, and life-cycle performance analysis. Additional tests conducted at the facility include Multipass Tests (ISO 4548-12 & ISO-19438), Singlepass Tests (SAE J1985), Filter Capacity Tests (SAE J905), Water Removal Efficiency Tests (SAE J1488), and Air Filter Efficiency and Capacity Tests (ISO 5011).
The center complies with safety guidelines set by the Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health (DISH) and employs a skilled team to maintain high operational standards.
Atmus also has a long-standing joint venture with Fleetguard Filters Private Limited (FFPL), headquartered in Pune. Established in 1987, FFPL provides filtration solutions for on- and off-highway applications across various markets in India.
