Anil Dua named co-founder of SAR EV to drive strategic growth
Anil Dua, a veteran leader with over 30 years of experience, joins Lectrix EV to steer its strategic growth and drive advancements in sustainable electric mobility solutions.
SAR Group, has announced the appointment of Anil Dua as Co-Founder. The move is effective immediately. Dua brings over three decades of experience in strategic leadership, digital transformation, and brand development across various industries.
Previously, Dua was the Group CEO of Dish TV, where he played a key role in several significant initiatives, including the merger with Videocon D2H, implementing digital transformation, and reducing the company’s debt from over ₹3,000 crores to a debt-free status in 2023. During his tenure, Dish TV introduced innovations such as hybrid set-top boxes and received awards like the Economic Times’ Best Brand Award.
Dua has also held senior roles at OTE Group in Oman, Hero MotoCorp, Unilever, and Gillette. At Hero MotoCorp, he contributed to the rebranding from Hero Honda to Hero and supported growth in sales and turnover during his tenure. His contributions have been recognized through awards, including the IAA Marketer of the Year and a spot among India’s Top 50 Brand Leaders.
An alumnus of IIT Delhi with an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Dua’s academic qualifications complement his extensive professional experience. His leadership approach emphasizes innovation and collaboration, aligning with Lectrix EV’s focus on advancing sustainable mobility in India.
Rakesh Malhotra, Founder of SAR Group, highlighted Dua’s expertise, noting his experience in operational efficiency and strategic growth. Malhotra stated that Lectrix EV aims to utilise Dua’s leadership to expand its presence in the electric mobility sector and achieve its goal of becoming a key player in sustainable transportation.
Commenting on his new role, Dua expressed his enthusiasm for joining Lectrix EV at a time when electric mobility is gaining momentum. He mentioned the company’s focus on technology and its vision for a greener future as key motivators for his involvement. He aims to use his experience to enhance growth, innovation, and customer-focused solutions within the industry.
With Dua’s appointment, SAR EV plans to strengthen its market position, diversify its product range, and promote accessible and sustainable electric mobility solutions. His leadership is expected to contribute to the company’s growth and its efforts to advance in the electric mobility sector.
