2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Launched at ₹11.42 Lakh with Standard 6 Airbags

2025 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Launched at ₹11.42 Lakh with Standard 6 Airbags

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has launched the updated version of its mid-size SUV, the Grand Vitara, at a starting price of ₹11.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 model now comes with 6 airbags as standard across all variants, along with several new features focused on safety, comfort, and convenience.

The update includes the introduction of a new Delta+ Strong Hybrid variant, priced at ₹16.99 lakh. This addition joins the existing Zeta+ and Alpha+ hybrid variants, as well as new Zeta+ (O) and Alpha+ (O) options. The Strong Hybrid variants combine a petrol engine with an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery pack.

In terms of safety, all variants of the updated Grand Vitara now offer 6 airbags, along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) with Hill Hold Assist, front and rear disc brakes, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), 3-point ELR seat belts for all seats, and ISOFIX child seat mounting points.

The SUV also gains several new comfort and convenience features. These include an 8-way powered driver seat, electronic parking brake for 6-speed automatic transmission variants, Auto Purify function with PM 2.5 display, new LED cabin lamps, and rear door sunshades. Additional options for a sunroof are now available in the Zeta and Alpha variants through the introduction of Zeta (O), Alpha (O), Zeta+ (O), and Alpha+ (O) variants. The vehicle also receives a design update with new R17 precision-cut alloy wheels.

The Grand Vitara continues to be available in multiple powertrain options including Strong Hybrid, Smart Hybrid, and the ALLGRIP Select all-wheel-drive variant. All models of the updated SUV are now compliant with E20 fuel standards.

Key technology and infotainment features in the Grand Vitara include a 22.86 cm (9-inch) SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen system with wireless smartphone connectivity, a head-up display, 360-degree view camera, wireless charging dock, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a sound system by Clarion, and connected car features via Suzuki Connect.
