The XUV700 is powered by a 2L mStallion turbo-petrol engine that develops 200hp and 380 Nm. There's also a 2.2L mHawk diesel in two states of tune – 155hp, 360 Nm (manual) and 185hp, 420 Nm (manual) / 450 Nm (automatic).

It is learnt that the OEM is targeting average monthly sales of around 2,500 units for the XUV700.
The XUV700 is the first Mahindra product to sport the new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo that will go all on future SUVs produced by M&M.
The dashboard is dominated by a dual 10.25-inch screen layout – one for the infotainment and the other for the instrument cluster – housed in a single, massive panel.
The infotainment system uses the brand’s newly developed AdrenoX interface with in-built Amazon Alexa virtual assistant for carrying out a variety of voice commands.
The XUV700 also gets a host of other features, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
