VE Commercial Vehicles unveiled the next-gen Volvo and Eicher intercity buses at Prawaas 3.0. The event which is in its third edition is ongoing in Hyderabad.
The buses on display include the newly-launched Volvo 9600 15m and 13.5m intercity coaches, which have been inspired by award-winning European designs, and the Eicher 13.5m intercity bus.
As Eicher's latest intercity bus, the Eicher 13.5m Intercity Coach addresses operators' need for a mid-premium HD bus. The highlights of the range are the engine's proven performance, unparalleled reliability, and enhanced functionality, the company said.
With 240 hp and 900 Nm torque, the bus is the first OEM-built FE Coach with seater and sleeper configurations. Despite its lightweight construction, the 425L HDPE fuel tank ensures long uninterrupted trips. Immediately noticeable are the sleek Tall Boy design and the layered surfaces of the modern aerodynamics.
